His Royal Highness Paul Sande Emolot, Emorimor Papa Iteso III, the Iteso Cultural Union Leader in Uganda, is set to be honored with knighthood at the upcoming 7th We Care for Humanity (WCH) Royal Summit.
The prestigious event is scheduled to take place from May 27–28, 2025, in Las Vegas, bringing together traditional leaders, humanitarians, and visionaries from across the globe.

The knighthood is a significant recognition of His Royal Highness’s exemplary leadership, unwavering dedication to preserving the Iteso culture, and his tireless efforts to drive development within the Teso sub-region of eastern Uganda.

The title will be conferred under the auspices of the Royal Maharlika and the Sultanate of Maguindanao, in partnership with We Care for Humanity and the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Las Vegas.
At the heart of Emorimor Papa Iteso III’s reign is a deep commitment to cultural heritage and unity.

Since his enthronement, he has actively engaged in revitalizing Iteso traditions and strengthening the collective identity of the Ateker people, a broader community of closely related ethnic groups in East Africa.
Through collaboration with clan leaders, the Emorimor has worked to fortify traditional governance structures while simultaneously embracing progress.
His visionary leadership has extended well beyond cultural preservation.
The Emorimor has championed numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing education, expanding healthcare access, and promoting economic empowerment in the Teso Kingdom.
He has also laid out an ambitious agenda for investment in tourism, infrastructure, and the construction of a new royal palace to serve as a cultural beacon for future generations.
The WCH knighthood is bestowed upon individuals who embody the virtues of peace, justice, and humanitarian service, qualities that His Royal Highness has demonstrated in his efforts to transform his kingdom.
Knights are regarded as “Protectors of the Earth,” “Peace Builders,” and “Defenders of the Innocent”, roles that resonate deeply with the Emorimor’s work in uniting communities and advocating for positive change.
Organized by the international nonprofit We Care for Humanity, the Royal Maharlika, and the Sultanate of Maguindanao, the Royal Summit serves as a unique global platform for cultural exchange, strategic collaboration, and collective action.
Convened by Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, Queen of the Royal House of Luzhantagalug and Bay Mampansa Maguindanao, the summit aims to promote a more compassionate, just, and sustainable world.
Her Majesty Mastura, a renowned humanitarian leader in the Philippines and founder of WCH, has emphasized the summit’s mission to spotlight leaders who are actively shaping the future of their communities with love, unity, and integrity, values central to the Royal Maharlika’s philosophy.
“This knighthood is not only a celebration of His Royal Highness Emorimor Papa Iteso III’s outstanding contributions to Uganda and the Ateker people,” said Maha Putri Mastura, “but also a powerful affirmation of our shared global commitment to building peaceful, inclusive societies.”
For His Royal Highness, the honor represents a bridge between traditional African leadership and the global humanitarian community.
His presence at the summit will underscore the importance of traditional institutions in addressing modern challenges and advancing the well-being of their people.
As the world turns its eyes to Las Vegas later this month, the knighthood of Emorimor Paul Sande Emolot stands as a symbol of enduring cultural strength, visionary leadership, and a shared hope for a better future for all.
