Tororo Municipality parliamentary hopeful Shyam Tanna has announced that he will officially launch his manifesto tomorrow, marking a major milestone in his political journey as campaigns for the 2026 elections gain momentum.
Speaking during a radio talk-show at East FM Tororo, Tanna said the launch, scheduled for 11:00 AM at the Lion Children Park in Tororo, is intended to give residents a clear picture of his vision, priorities, and commitment to transforming the municipality.

“I am just here to talk to my people. Campaigns are officially open, and I want to use this opportunity to invite them. I’ve organized something special for them tomorrow at Lion Children Park,” he said.

Tanna emphasized that the event is designed to be inclusive, welcoming people from all walks of life regardless of political affiliation or background.
“We want everyone, anyone and everyone,” he noted. “In our camp, we don’t believe in segregation or favoritism. This is an open invitation to all residents of Tororo.”

He extended special invitations to councillors, religious leaders, cultural leaders, youth, women, elders, and all community members eager to understand his plans for the municipality.
Tanna added that the manifesto launch will not only explain why he is contesting but also highlight what he intends to deliver if elected.
“I will be telling the people why I am standing, and when I go through, what I will be delivering for them,” he said.
The Tanna camp has steadily gained momentum in recent weeks, with growing public interest following his endorsement by former MP and business magnate Sanjay Tanna.
Tomorrow’s manifesto unveiling is expected to draw a sizeable crowd as residents seek clarity on his development agenda.
The event is projected to set the tone for Shyam’s campaign trail as he positions himself as a unifying, youth-driven, and development-focused candidate for Tororo Municipality.
