Christians in Katakwi District have lauded Daniel Mulalu, the Private Secretary to the President in charge of Political Mobilization and Affairs, for his remarkable contribution to the Soroti Catholic Diocese’s men’s conference.

The four-day spiritual gathering, held at St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Ngora from January 6th to January 10th, 2025, brought together thousands of men seeking to deepen their faith and strengthen their spiritual beliefs.

Among the attendees were over 200 men from Ngariam County, whose transportation to the event was fully funded by Mulalu, the founder of Kazi Ni Kazi.
Believers from Ngariam County expressed their gratitude for Mulalu’s selfless support.

Alfred Awojan from Lalei Zone, Martine Okwi, and Simon Peter Abwaimo hailed Mulalu as a sincere Christian and a leader committed to uplifting his community.
“He has demonstrated a true believer’s heart, tirelessly working to support God’s ministry,” said Awojan.
John Francis Icana, a resident of Aterai in Akoboi Subcounty, noted that while other political leaders were absent during their time of need, Mulalu stepped in to assist.
“When we were stranded, he ensured we reached Ngora for the conference. His actions show true leadership and a commitment to God’s work,” Icana remarked.
The conference addressed issues affecting men and families, with a focus on restoring love, peace, and harmony in marriages through God’s teachings.
Esther Ariko, a resident of Olupe Town Board, expressed hope that the spiritual renewal experienced by the men would lead to positive changes in their households.
“The word of God they received will help families combat domestic violence and build stronger bonds,” she said.
David Choki, Mulalu’s program coordinator in Ngariam County, echoed these sentiments.
He praised the men for prioritizing their spiritual growth and called for continued participation in such initiatives to strengthen Christianity within families and communities.
In his remarks, Daniel Mulalu encouraged men to remain steadfast in their faith and committed to prayer.
He pledged ongoing support for similar conferences, emphasizing his dedication to God’s ministry.
“As we journey together in faith, I will continue to provide transportation and any other resources needed to ensure our spiritual growth,” Mulalu said.
Mulalu, who has declared his intention to run for the Ngariam County parliamentary seat in the 2026 elections, is gaining admiration for his philanthropic efforts and commitment to the spiritual and social well-being of his community.
