His Royal Highness Papa Emorimor Paul Sande Emolot Etomeileng has continued his tour across Teso, urging his people to embrace peaceful coexistence and follow the right procedures when handling land disputes.
During his recent visit to Kapelebyong District, he warned the Iteso against engaging in violent conflicts over land, emphasizing that many lives have been lost due to such disputes.

Emorimor stressed the importance of seeking mediation through clan leaders and elders, who possess deep knowledge of land matters and can provide fair resolutions.

He encouraged communities to prioritize dialogue over violence, reminding them that unity is the foundation of a strong and proud Iteso heritage.
He also called upon clan leaders to unite their people, promote togetherness, and discourage selfishness.

Reflecting on the past, Emorimor recalled a time when the Iteso shared resources and worked collectively on tasks such as farming, fostering a spirit of cooperation and mutual support.
He urged the people to revive this culture of communal assistance and harmony.
Ediku Michael, the Chairperson of the Iteso Cultural Union (ICU) in Kapelebyong District, praised Emorimor’s initiative, acknowledging the positive impact of his visits and teachings.
He noted that such engagements strengthen cultural identity and provide guidance on important issues affecting the community.
Similarly, George William, the clan leader of the Ikarwo Imugana clan, expressed his gratitude to Emorimor for reviving cultural awareness among the Iteso.
He emphasized that access to traditional teachings and leadership guidance was once limited but through Emorimor’s efforts the community is now more informed and empowered.
In addition to cultural reviving , George William urged Emorimor to continue lobbying for better representation of the Iteso people in government.
