The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has officially confirmed that the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results will be released on Friday, March 14, 2025.
The announcement was made through UNEB’s official X (formerly Twitter) platform, where the exams body disclosed that the mandatory briefing of the Minister of Education and Sports had been successfully conducted on Tuesday afternoon.

According to UNEB, the briefing session was led by the Board’s Chairperson, Prof. Celestino Obua, alongside the Executive Director, Mr. Dan Odongo.

The session provided the Minister with a comprehensive overview of the results, key performance trends, and other relevant insights.
The official release of the results will take place at State House, Nakasero, starting at 11:00 a.m., and is expected to be presided over by the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni.

Over 110,000 candidates sat for the 2024 UACE exams, which are critical for students seeking entry into universities and other tertiary institutions.
The UACE marks the final stage of secondary school education in Uganda.
UNEB has encouraged stakeholders, including candidates, parents, and school heads, to follow the proceedings and later check the results via SMS or the online portal immediately after the official announcement.
The release of the UACE results comes a month after the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results were issued, as UNEB continues its commitment to timely and transparent handling of national examinations.
