The incumbent Member of Parliament for Serere County, Hon. Emmanuel Omoding has reaffirmed his commitment to transforming the subcounty.
During a rally for NRM primaries at Kangodo Primary School in Ochapa Town Council, Omoding declared, “I am a son of Serere and I am ready to remain here not to go back abroad, for the betterment of Serere County.”

The rally drew a massive crowd which warmly welcomed Omoding.

He visited Kangodo Primary School, Oburiekori, and Orupe under Ochapa Town Council, highlighting his achievements and promising more.
Notably, he revealed that he has lobbied for electric power and solars to be extended to villages in Ochapa Town Council.

Additionally, he assured the community that the long awaited tarmacking of the Kumi-Ngora-Serere to kagwara road and Soroti- Serere to Pingire would commence this year, boosting business, development and industrialization in the region.
Omoding also pledged to enhance education in Kangodo Primary School, responding to challenges raised by the headteacher, Emmanuel Onyait Okello.
Specifically, he promised to donate cement for constructing teachers’ quarters, pipes for the school borehole and 100 desks for the learners to sit on.
This gesture left the community elated and they vowed to re-elect him to Parliament to continue delivering great things for Serere and supporting local people.
The community’s enthusiasm was palpable as they cheered Omoding’s promises, reflecting their trust in his leadership and vision for Serere’s future.
With his commitments, Omoding has demonstrated his dedication to the region’s growth and development.
