The family of the late Apio Joan Faith, a pupil at Jozan Nursery and Primary School who tragically lost her life on February 3, 2025, due to an alleged case of manslaughter, has released the official burial program.
According to the schedule, a Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Soroti City – East from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

This will be followed by a body viewing at her family home in Nakatunya, near Harmony Nursery School in Soroti City – West, from 2:40 PM to 3:00 PM.

Afterward, the body will be transported to Magoro Health Centre III for public viewing at 5:00 PM, before departing for Ateuso Village, Kapelebyong District, where she will be laid to rest.
The burial ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Ateuso Village, Aminito Parish, Akoromit Subcounty, Kapelebyong District.

Arrangements for transportation of mourners from Soroti and Katakwi will be communicated in due course.
Apio Joan Faith’s untimely passing has left her family, and the wider community in deep sorrow.
At least five people are in Police Custody including; Schools Director Joseph Okedi, Wife Vivian Okedi, School Matron, School Head teacher and one other person.
The family has expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and condolences during this difficult time.
