Soroti University’s latest academic achievement comes from Bridget Ninusiima, a first-year medical student, who emerged as the 1st runner-up in the Ozone Category of the Ultimate University Quiz.

Organized by New Vision, Bank of Uganda, and the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), this competition brought together the brightest university minds across the country.
Bridget’s exceptional performance in the quiz earned Soroti University an award in the female category, further proving the institution’s commitment to nurturing intellectual excellence.

Kasule John, a fourth-year medical student, has been elected as the General Secretary of the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA).

Kasule’s leadership journey began within Soroti University, where he currently serves as the third Guild Speaker and represents persons with disabilities in the 2024 Guild Council.

Chelangat Specioza, a fourth-year Engineering student, secured a bronze medal in the 10km race during the 19th edition of the Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) Inter-University Games held at Uganda Christian University (UCU).
